SINGLE AND DOUBLE-ACTING SWING CLAMP THREADED CYLINDER
These swing clamps are particularly suitable in all cases where the insertion and removal of the piece during machining must be facilitated. The clamping cycle takes place in two phases: one of clockwise or anti-clockwise rotation with partial descent of the piston, and one of a vertical downward stroke for the clamping effect. In single-acting models when the pressure is released, the clamping arm automatically returns to its initial position by an internal spring. In double-acting models the return is ensured by a second hydraulic line. The clamping arm fixing block, the long internal piston guide in treated case-hardened steel, the nitrided steel body, all guarantee an unlimited number of cycles at the maximum pressure of 400 bar.Special versions can be produced on request.Download: DATA SHEET | 2D TECHN. SINGLE AND DOUBLE-ACTING SWING CLAMP CYLINDER WITH FLANGE
The cylinder is fitted with a mechanical overload safety device, to protect the swing mechanism if it encounters an obstacle. The clamping cycle takes place in two phases: one of clockwise or anti-clockwise rotation with partial descent of the piston, and one of a vertical downward stroke for the clamping effect. In single-acting models when releasing the pressure the arm automatically turns and returns to the initial position by the internal spring. In double-acting models the return is ensured by a second hydraulic line. POSITIVE CLAMPING CYLINDERS WITH HOLLOW PLUNGER
The series 400 provides a clamping force without permanent connection to a hydraulic power source. The force is provided by built-in packs of Belleville washers, and the hydraulic connection is only required to compress the springs and return the piston. These cylinders are ideal for clamping guides, dies or pallets, and in all cases where permanent hydraulic connection would require complex circuits. A central threaded through hole allows use in push or pull mode.Special versions can be produced on request.Download: DATA SHEET | 2D TECHN. DRAWS | 3D TECHN. DRAWS
SWING CLAMP CYLINDERS WITH POSITIVE CLAMPING
In these cylinders the force is provided by built-in packs of Belleville washers, making clamping independent of the hydraulic connection. Series 500 cylinders are ideal in all cases where a reliable, constant clamping force for a prolonged period of time is required, such as in multipallet processing systems or transfer machines. The clamping cycle takes place in two phases: one of clockwise or anti-clockwise rotation with partial descent of the piston, and one of a vertical downward stroke for the clamping effect. The threaded body allows easy installation on the equipment with the aid of flanges or ring-nuts.Special versions can be produced on request.Download: DATA SHEET | 2D TECHN. DRAWS | 3D TECHN. DRAWS
DAMPER CYLINDERS WITH BASE
These damping cylinders are used as supporting components in all processes where the stresses applied to the piece by the tool are such as to cause deformations or vibrations. Thanks to its square base with rear inlet hole and O-ring seal; in this model the oil enters through hole inside the equipment. The rod with internal threading allows the elements of different lengths and shapes to be mounted to fit the piece.
The damper cylinder (version A) is supplied by a single hydraulic line with controlled flow-rate.
On this cylinder, the clamping sequence is as follows:
The rod approaches the piece with minimum force (10-20 N), the pressure rises and is then clamped in position. When the pressure is released the rod returns to the initial starting position.
In the damper cylinder (version B) with spring approaching, the rod is fully extended in the basic position so that positioning can take place before clamping by means of contact with the weight of the piece for machining.Special versions can be produced on request.Download: DATA SHEET | 2D TECHN. DRAWS | 3D TECHN. DRAWS
